For some reason I find that Disney and Dreamworks have no choice but to make a Jelsa Movie. Since you know, FANS love it, and since Frozen was a big hit, wouldn’t Jelsa be MORE of a big hit for both of the two companies or something. They get all the benefits.. Actually everyone gets the benefits. Disney, Dreamworks, and The Fans. So I don’t see why they shouldn’t plan to work together to make a Jack x Elsa movie. It would be cute. More fanarts, and stuff. And like, I’ll buy the dvds watch it all over again. Like every fan would.

I regret going into the jelsa tag why did I even went there now I read this bs and got more sad than angry

They are rival companies with different views on animation

It. Will never. Happen. There would be too much involved. Rise of the Guardians is based off the Guardian of Childhood series by William Joyce, there is too much copyright involved and not only that, but do you honestly think that Dreamworks and Disney would make a sequel purely based on shipping? Are you nuts?

Keep it in the fandoms, good God.

I’m not saying purely. I mean, Rise of the Guardians? They skip 300 years, what the friggin’ hell did you think Jack do all those years? “Yeah just make winter, sit there until someone believes in you”

And Frozen being based on only 100 years away from Rise of the Guardian timeline. It’s quite possible. Hell, I’m satisfied if it’s not even a romantic 1 hour movie. Just something about friendship and all, it can be like only 30 minutes or less.

Fandoms can dream all they want sheesh. It was just my thought, no need to be cold there.

Uuuhg. I dunno how much ‘m going to reply to these.

Do read the other replies I’ve already done. I know both Disney and Dreamworks are rival companies. But it didn’t mean they cannot do collaborate work.

What I simply wrote is just a fast typed thought of possibilities. No I do not think both companies are just doing it for the money (Well they are still doing that but for the government stuffs but that’s another story). And Yes I do respect Jack Frost as a character, and a dreamworks property (not some shipping folder).

And I’m sorry if the post is simply bullshit but, I don’t blame you. I see why you’re mad and all. But I repeat, it’s a fast typed up thought. And just a thought. I know I’m bitch about thinking that. But people can dream and at least share thoughts. I didn’t mean to give anyone negative emotions especially.

But rival, if you say that Dreamworks was just created because of a disappointment over Disney, and they probably have no chance of collaboration. That’s called being enemies. Rivals are like friend-enemies. They just challenge each other to improve together.

Not just bash-out and all and hate each other. Rivals learn from each other, and the statement “They are rival companies with different views on animation” if you put rival there, you could have assumed they at least share something good to each other.

Exactly. The fact that two companies can’t get over their feud to make more money annoys me, especially since that’s what their all about.

Hello friend, what you said is just rude and disrespectful for both companies. What do you know about Disney and Dreamworks to think making money is all they care about? Perhaps because you think Frozen is just a mediocre but hyped up animation? Or because Jack Frost is the only thing worth noting in in Rise of the Guardians? After all, they only care about the money and not the quality, isn’t that right?

Think about what you just said. Just think.

Just because you are a fan doesn’t mean they need to cater your so called needs.

I’m not really saying they’re greedy. Do realize that the money they get kinda gets to be used to fix things and improve the places. The Money could also be used for the poor and stuff.

Pretty much, I just find that they have the need to make a good of a quality video for audiences, to gain money for the government to help those in needs. So our money that we use to watch and buy their movies are used by the government to mainly help people more.

Both companies amy be in so called complicated matters, but they both use the money they gain for their movies, to send them to the damn government.

I know I’m repeating things. But I just want to point out that I’m not saying that they just care about gaining money. The main purpose of the money idea is for them to donate stuffs and all that.

foreverdelighted:

Even though fans love it I’m afraid there is little to no chance of there ever being a movie with these two characters in it. I know there are a lot of shippers out there who would love to have their pairing made into a canon pairing, whatever that pairing may be. I know a tiny, teeny part of me would adore the idea. But I’m really sorry to say that I don’t think its even remotely possible. xx

Check this out. A fan asked animator Darrin Butters if there could ever be a possible collaboration between Disney and a DreamWorks in order to bring out a movie for Jack Frost and Elsa. This was his reply: https://www.facebook.com/DisneyAnimators/photos/a.251782858321911.1073741846.233287670171430/261385040695026/?type=1&stream_ref=10

Now although we’ll never get a movie its nothing to get upset over :) We have something far greater. We have fanon! Even if our beloved characters never meet on the big screen we still have a wonderful community who give us so much more than canon ever could. We get to bask in some of the most beautiful art. We have amazing comics and we also have plenty of animations that fellow jelsa fans have spent hours painstakingly making them to share with us! We have edits, YouTube videos, head canons and fanfics. All of which allow our Jack and Elsa to meet under any circumstances that we want. We can do things that canon would never dream of!

It doesn’t matter if we don’t have a canon movie. After all…

True. OuO. But I read the answers for the question. He did say that it’s NOT IMPOSSIBLE. Mainly there’s a chance. Likely, I’m not saying they really don’t have any choice. Both companies can do anything they want. All I’m saying that if they take the effort, it’ll be worth it for the Jelsa Fans. And it doesn’t have to be like the current timelines for Rise of the guardians and all. It’ll be like Jack’s past, and during Elsa’s time.

There’s a possibility they could work together and all. It’s better to have more collaboration with others especially. Since they can have improvements in their movies, and they have more bonds is all I’m saying.

But I’m happy with the way artists and animators make Jelsa stuffs. And the community spreads. Fans are dreaming of a movie, but they could have just done their own. Though, it’s appreciated if the two did work together.

Do realize, fans have been begging, and fanarts, fanfics, and so on are a proof of that. They do it to encourage poeple to join in the community. They just probably don’t want to have their dreams and efforts crushed.

So today, in French class we were learning about occupation and stuff, my French teacher told me about the Arts program in the highschool I’m going to. And she said that if I joined in and went to an art college or school. There’s a way I could get to disney animators or something. And I was like. YEAH.

But the problem is I ship Jelsa, and since Disney and Dreamworks are like rivals. I’m kinda like.. stuck in the middle. Oh gods. SCREAMS.
